college experience?

to apply the skills and information gained?
(no more than one page, 3,200 characters with spaces)
It is important that you complete all the required fields including submission
of a response to each essay question. There is no right or wrong answer to these
open questions, but we encourage you to give some critical thought based upon your
own experiences. In general, you are limited to about one single space typed page

CONFERENCEWEEKEND
Traditionally we have attempted to hold the conference during Veteran’s Day weekend.
Since Veteran’s Day falls on a weekday we have chosen a date that limits its impact
to the academic calendar. We recognize some colleges and universities may not observe
this holiday and that you may have to miss classes in order to attend the first
day of the conference on Friday, November 13, 2009. We ask that all participants
make the commitment to accept our invitation, arrive at the scheduled time, and
be fully engaged throughout the duration of the conference. Due to the nature of
the conference we cannot accept partial attendance. Please review the
tentative conference schedule in order to make adjustments to your school or
work schedule. If you have any questions regarding the application process, send
an email to APLC@sa.ucsb.edu.
